Friday 24 September is the last day of term. We hope everyone enjoys a restful holiday. Students return for Term 4 on Tuesday 12 October.
Massed Choir Festival
We want to wish the NMPS Choir all the best for their participation in the upcoming Massed Choir Festival. You have all been working very hard in the lead up to this big event. The Choir will be performing this Friday 24 September at the Perth Concert Hall. Thank you Mrs Poh for providing this exciting opportunity for our students to perform.
The students and staff enjoyed an exciting and entertaining afternoon of kite making. The kite skins the students designed earlier in the week were turned into kites in an enormous whole school craft session in the Arts Centre. We were then treated to a beautiful kite display much to the delight of adults and children alike.
Wind in the Willows
Tickets for the end of year concert, Wind in the Willows, go on sale Tuesday 12 October. Tickets can be purchased through the office. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the production will now be held in the Arts Centre at North Morley Primary on the advertised days and time.
North Morley hosted a successful and enjoyable Interschool Athletics Carnival on Friday 17 September.
Our students competed with great positivity and enthusiasm and there were some excellent performances on the day. Mikayla won Champion Year 5 Girl and set a new Interschool record in the Long Jump competition, and Toby and Kahn were runner-up Champions in their year level. We were also the best performed school overall in the Team Games which all our competitors should be very proud of.
Thank you to the P&C for running a delicious cake stall and raffle and to Mr Farrell for a fantastic day! A lot of effort goes on behind the scenes to organise an event like this. Well done!
Congratulations go to Morley for being overall winners!
Permission forms for the whole school excursion to the museum have been sent home with students. Please return forms to the school by Friday 15 October. Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the office on 9218 1650.
