SciTech Challenge

Selected Year 5 and 6 students competed in the Scitech Challenge Day. The challenges were based around the theme of migration and the day also included a presentation on animal mimicry. Throughout the day the students completed four challenges in Engineering, Maths and Science. They consisted of two engineering tasks to build a  soundproofing contraption and a civil engineering project around town planning. The students also completed a series of mathematics tasks as well as an astronomy quiz. Throughout the day the students worked in two teams to complete the tasks by utilising their knowledge, teamwork and collaborative skills.  It was a fun, informative and engaging day, and the students thoroughly enjoyed developing their STEM skills alongside likeminded students from a number of other schools.

Kindy Orientation

We look forward to welcoming our 2024 Kindy families for orientation on Wednesday 15 November from 9:00am in the Kindy room. This will be a great opportunity to learn about the year a head and make connections with other families, ready for the start of 2024.

Cleaners and Gardeners Day

We are so grateful to our wonderful cleaners and gardeners who look after and care for our school grounds with so much love. All of their hard work makes the school a beautiful and safe place to learn in every day.

Thank you from all of us at North Morley!

Thank you

We would like to extend an enormous thank you to Kelly T and all of the volunteers for a very successful referendum sausage sizzle. Thanks to their hard work, the sausage sizzle raised over $1000 for the P&C. As always, this money will be used to directly benefit our students. Thank you for your time and energy Kelly!

Origami Club

This term we start Origami Club every Thursday at recess. Introduced by some of our Year 3 students, participants will have the chance to learn origami techniques and share their knowledge with others. All materials are supplied.

We just love these student led initiatives!

Connecting Cultures Cookbook

It’s not too late to submit your favourite family recipe! We will be collecting recipes until the end of Term 4. This will be collated and shared with families Term 1 of 2024.
