There will be no school on Monday 6 March as we recognise the Labour Day Public Holiday. Enjoy the long weekend with your family.
2023 Student Leaders
Congratulations to this year’s Year 6 Leaders. We look forward to watching you grow through your new roles.
Although only 6 students hold these leadership roles this year, all the Year 6 students are reminded that they do not have to wear a badge to be a great leader!
Clean Up Australia Day
This year North Morley is teaming up with Trace Ecology https://www.traceecology.com.au/ to continue the conservation of our school’s bushland. Members of the Trace team joined students, staff and parents on Clean Up Australia Day. During their visit they began the process of tagging the flora with in the bushland, took drone footage of they area and mucked in with the clean-up. We are thrilled to be working with Trace. They have a lot of exciting projects planned for North Morley!
A Message from Signora Zeiser
It’s that time of year where students enjoying learning another language can participate in an online competition through Education Perfect. Along with strengthening your understanding of the language, you can accumulate points for a chance to win great prizes! This is a global competition with over 8000 schools already enrolled.
The Education Perfect online languages competition will be running from March 7th to March 14th. Login details are as follows:
Students login onto www.educationperfect.com
Username: NMPSFirstnameLastname (please add your child’s details to the username)
Password: This has been given to your child in class
This is non-compulsory where students can use this great educational tool for learning. If students choose to participate they do require time at home for this. Let’s see if we can beat the highest points achieved by a student at Coolbinia PS of 7500.
Have fun students and good luck! In bocca al lupo!

Bunuru (February – March)
As we enter the second month of Bunuru, the season of adolescence, the warm weather continues. Bunuru is the hottest time of the year with little to no rain. Hot days ease in the afternoons with a cool sea breeze if you are near the coast. Traditionally this was a great time for living and fishing by the coast, rivers and estuaries.
Bunuru is the time when Jarrah, Marri and Ghost Gum trees are in bloom with white flowers.
The Year 6 students are asking for donations towards their end of term Easter Raffle. These can be chocolates, wrapping, baskets etc. All funds raised will go towards Year 6 Leaders activities.
