Clean Up Australia Day
This year North Morley is teaming up with Trace Ecology https://www.traceecology.com.au/ to continue the conservation of our school’s bushland. Members of the Trace team joined students, staff and parents on Clean Up Australia Day. During their visit they began the process of tagging the flora with in the bushland, took drone footage of they area and mucked in with the clean-up. We are thrilled to be working with Trace. They have a lot of exciting projects planned for North Morley!

It’s that time of year where students enjoying learning another language can participate in an online competition through Education Perfect. Along with strengthening your understanding of the language, you can accumulate points for a chance to win great prizes! This is a global competition with over 8000 schools already enrolled.

Mascot Competition – Winner
Introducing our new Toastie Days mascot… Goldie!!
Congratulations to Joana who drew this amazing mascot and has won free toastie packs for the rest of the year!

Recycling at North Morley
Bunuru (February – March)
As we enter the second month of Bunuru, the season of adolescence, the warm weather continues. Bunuru is the hottest time of the year with little to no rain. Hot days ease in the afternoons with a cool sea breeze if you are near the coast. Traditionally this was a great time for living and fishing by the coast, rivers and estuaries.
Bunuru is the time when Jarrah, Marri and Ghost Gum trees are in bloom with white flowers.
Easter Raffle
The Year 6 students are asking for donations towards their end of term Easter Raffle. These can be chocolates, wrapping, baskets etc. All funds raised will go towards Year 6 Leaders activities.
