Interschool Cross Country
Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the Interschool Cross country event at Morley PS. North Morley came 3rd overall with Weld Square taking home the shield. Outstanding performances include Mikayla and Mila who won their races, Kaylene and Ashwariya who came second in their races and Toby who came fourth place. Well done everyone!
Math Competition Morley Senior High School
Six students from North Morley were selected to take part in a math competition at Morley SHS. The Australian Maths Trust (AMC) is an engaging 30-problem competition that demonstrates the importance and relevance of mathematics in students’ everyday lives; it is open to students in years 3 to 12. Australia’s leading educators and academics, with a deep understanding of our national curriculum standards, actively design the unique AMC problems each year.
Science Week Incursion
Get set for an explosive start to Science Week. Magnus Danger Magnus is coming to North Morley for an exciting show that is sure to blow you away! This incursion is for students from Pre Primary to Year 6.
Math Murder Mystery
The Math Murder Mystery family event is fast approaching. Parents/carers are invited to participate in a maths murder mystery, solving many fun maths puzzles to ultimately catch the culprit! It can take from 20 to 80 minutes to solve. The session will run for 1.5 hours. It is ideal if attendees arrive at the beginning, but they do not need to stay for the whole time.
This event is taking place On Thursday 26 August from 4:00 – 5:30pm at North Morley.
Please return your RSVP form to the office ASAP. All children must be attended by parents/guardians.
Spelling Bee
The Spelling Bee Spectacular will be taking place on Tuesday 17 August for students in year 3-6. Bee prepared!
Speaking Competition
Students from Pre Primary to Year 6 will be taking part in the North Morley Speaking Competition on Thursday 26 August.
