The last day of term for students is Thursday 15 December. All students return for the new school year on Wednesday 1 February 2023.
We wish you all have a safe and happy holiday.
Colour Run
An outrageously fun time was had at the Colour Run on Friday. Students, parents and staff donned white shirts and rainbows for a colourful and wet afternoon. We could not wipe the smile off of our faces.
This event was proudly sponsored by the P&C. A huge thank you to Terri, Jodie and the Toastie Team for feeding the whole school and Emma and the Colour Run team for organising and running this amazing event. The photos say it all!
Thank you!
After five years, Emma Harris is retiring from her role as P&C President. Over the last 5 years with Emma’s leadership, the P&C has introduced many initiatives and resources to North Morley. Just to name a few! The play equipment in the Kindy and junior play areas, an outdoor classroom in the bushland, a new climbing structure in the senior playground, and a Community Recycling Hub.
Thank you Emma for all of your tireless efforts and dedication to North Morley. We appreciate all you have done for the school.
2023 School Councillors
Congratulations to all of the students who ran for the 2023 Student Council. The following students have been elected to fill these positions:
Alisa Joshua and Kaea.
Congratulations on being successful in becoming a member of the Student Council for 2023. This is such a great achievement and one that is thoroughly deserved.
Your Move
As part of the Your Move initiative at North Morley Primary we have been working with the Department of Transport to create a map which provides our families with the best route to walk or ride to school. The map has been added to the website. We look forward to seeing many of our families walking and riding to school in 2023.
2022 Choir
A very animated 12 days of Christmas was performed by the choir at last weeks assembly. To commemorate a very busy year for the choir, the students were presented with their certificates of participation and choir pins. Those students in years 4 to 6 in 2023 interested in joining the choir, will have the opportunity to do so early next year.
Morley Senior High School Bike Program
Morley Senior High School runs a bike program each year with students in Years 9 and 10. In this program students work with Dismantle to repair and refurbish bike parts to create two fully and properly functioning bikes. Two of these bikes were generously donated to our school last week, presented by Riley and Jayden. These bikes will be given to the P&C next year to be used as raffle prizes.
Thank you Morley Senior High!
