As an Independent Public School (IPS), North Morley PS is able to engage members of the school community through the school board. The board’s role is to improve student outcomes by working with the Principal to determine strategic directions of the school, participating in the development of the school Business Plan, monitoring school performance and supporting the school to achieve its objectives.
The Board brings the voice of the community into the school and is an important part of the school’s future direction and management. Parents who serve on school boards are enthusiastic and motivated people who are focused on improving their school and advocating for public education. We would encourage anyone who wants to work together with the school to improve student learning and build a positive school culture to consider nominating for a position on the NMPS Board in 2021.
