Within the spirit of excellence and mutual respect, North Morley Primary School is a safe and supportive environment with a clear focus on Values, Literacy and Numeracy. All students are encouraged to reach their full potential as confident, independent and responsible members of the community.
At North Morley Primary School, we believe learning is a life long journey. Our staff work with students and parents to create a holistic, safe environment for each child to feel valued and become socially responsible citizens. We strive to develop resilience and confidence in everyone. We encourage all learners and staff to become engaged, innovative and creative thinkers who set goals and strive to be challenged. We believe in a culture of high expectations, developed through our SPORT philosophy:
S – SAFE P – POSITIVE O – ORGANISED R – RESPECTFUL T – TOLERANT
We believe this will equip students to take ownership of their own learning to become resourceful, successful citizens who aim high to reach their full potential
The School Vision Statement has been presented to the school community and reflects our Positive Behaviour Support program.
Learning & Effort
We believe that all students have the capacity to learn.
We have high expectations of our students and ourselves. We set standards of excellence and strive to achieve them. The standards and expectations challenge all of us to give our best effort.
We recognise the differing circumstances and needs of our students and are dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for all.
We treat all individuals with care. Our relationships are based on trust, mutual respect and acceptance of responsibility. We recognise the value of working in partnership with parents.
We acknowledge the importance of regular, proactive and honest communication between school and families in our students’ education, to give them the best opportunity to learn.

To provide a sympathetic and respectful environment in which each child can develop desirable personal traits of self-reliance, initiative, tolerance, courtesy, cooperation and ethical behavior together with communal skills of citizenship, cultural appreciation, utilization of leisure and lawful conduct.
To foster acceptable personal and communal health habits and participation in physical activity for enjoyment and personal development in a spirit of fair play, cooperation and good sportsmanship.
