Pirate Day is an annual event where we dress up to raise awareness and much-needed funds for childhood brain cancer. Students are encouraged to come dressed as a pirate on Friday 13 May. Please bring a gold coin donation.
S.P.O.R.T Focus – Positive
This fortnight our S.P.O.R.T Focus is Positive. Being positive means having confidence in yourself, your choices and other people, When you are positive you are a good winner and a good loser. It is encouraging others and making them feel accepted and special.
Volunteers Week
National Volunteers Week is Monday 16 – Friday 20 May. North Morley is so fortunate to have dedicated and hardworking volunteers in both our school and local community. We want to thank you for your continued support and generous contribution of your time.

P&C Day WA
On Friday 20th of May we will be celebrating WA’s exceptional Parents and Citizens’ Associations (P&Cs) that give so much to our school communities. P&C Day WA is about giving thanks to P&C members and letting them know that we see the light they shine on our schools. This year’s P&C Day falls on the Friday of National Volunteer Week, giving all the more reason to celebrate these special school-based volunteers.
Stay and Play
It was so nice to see our community come together again for the Stay and Play at the adventure playground. Thank you to the P&C for organising this event and to the Year 6 students for running the activities.
Book Fair
Get ready to Dive into Reading at this year’s Scholastic Book Fair. Students will have the opportunity to preview the books on Monday 23 May with their classroom teacher. The fair will be open to families on:
Tuesday 24 May 8:20am – 3:30pm
Friday 27 May 8:20am – 3:30pm
Scholastic donates 20% of all sales made at the fair back to the school to purchase books for our school library!
