Musical Wrap up

Our end of year production Wind in the Willows was a great success! Performed over two nights in front of sold out audiences, the students performed with both courage and confidence. We are very proud of all of the effort they put into the preparation for this show. An exciting addition to this year’s production was the purchase of a stage and curtains. This is an asset all of the students will benefit from for years to come.

We want to say a big thank you to Mr Robert Buntain for organising the lighting which was a fantastic addition to the show. We also want to thank Mrs Kimberley Sarich and Mrs Robin Gage for their assistance with props. The undertaking of a whole school musical is quite a feat. We want to thank Mrs Dixee Poh whose big vision and tireless effort, provide this fantastic opportunity for the students.

The performing arts can encourage your child to explore their emotions, expanding their imagination and helping them develop their own, unique voice. Each discipline, music, dance and drama, engage a child’s brain, body and emotions in different ways to encourage their confidence and find joy in self-expression.

Planning is already under way for next year’s production

“A-llad-in” Trouble. Casting for this show will begin in Term 1 next year.
