The school operates for 310 minutes per day and teaching sessions are arranged between the hours of 8:50 am and 3:00 pm. There are two sirens before the start of the school day, a siren at 8:40 am to signal students to start making their way to class, thee second siren is used to signal the beginning of the school day.
After each recess, children are expected to respond promptly and line up for entry into the classroom. Parents are requested not to send their children to school before 8.15 am as supervision cannot be provided.

Absences
We are required by regulation to contact parents for absentee notes. All absences should be explained either verbally or in writing. Letters will be sent home to parents requesting an explanation of any unexplained absences. Each Semester the school has to submit a return to the Regional Office.
For supervision purposes, students should not arrive before 8.30 am and need to leave the school grounds promptly after the siren at 3:00 pm. Arrangements for care of students after school hours can be made with our onsite group Camp Australia.
An Absentee Notification can be sent through Connect which is emailed to the School.
